Once again, the ever-delightful Shelley [KF7TBA] is camping out at her Dad's house tonight and she sends a BIG Radio Wave to everybody.
Departing from Seattle this past Tuesday morning, the (French) CMA CGM Group's BENJAMIN FRANKLIN was the largest (container) cargo vessel ever to call at a U.S. port.
In fact, it called at the Ports of LA, Long Beach, Oakland, and Washington's Puget Sound Port of Seattle -- before departing on 1st March for China.
Longer than the Empire State Building (1,300 feet long), wider than a football field (177 feet wide), and as tall as a 20-floor building (197 feet tall), the CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin dwarfed the other ships and WA State Ferries plying the waters of Puget Sound (see photos on our Blog).
So, how much might you know about the remarkable CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin?
Please choose your answers from any of the 3 (reuseable) answers of "A", "B", or "C" (if applicable!) for each of the following question
Ok, pull up a deck chair, slurp down some ginger ale, and zip up your windbreaker as we rock some waves!
