Good morning/evening, everybody! Thank you for joining us tonight.

Once again, the ever-delightful Shelley [KF7TBA] is camping out at her Dad's house tonight and she sends a BIG Radio Wave to everybody.
Departing from Seattle this past Tuesday morning, the (French) CMA CGM Group's BENJAMIN FRANKLIN was the largest (container) cargo vessel ever to call at a U.S. port.
In fact, it called at the Ports of LA, Long Beach, Oakland, and Washington's Puget Sound Port of Seattle -- before departing on 1st March for China.
Longer than the Empire State Building (1,300 feet long), wider than a football field (177 feet wide), and as tall as a 20-floor building (197 feet tall), the CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin dwarfed the other ships and WA State Ferries plying the waters of Puget Sound (see photos on our Blog).
So, how much might you know about the remarkable CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin?
Please choose your answers from any of the 3 (reuseable) answers of "A", "B", or "C" (if applicable!) for each of the following question
Ok, pull up a deck chair, slurp down some ginger ale, and zip up your windbreaker as we rock some waves!
++ "BIG Boat" ++
Question #1: The CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin has the capacity to carry 17,722 TEU ("twenty-foot equivalent") containers. If these containers were laid end-to-end, they would stretch more than 60 miles in length (about the distance from Santa Barbara to Santa Monica) -- True or False?
        A. True, or
        B. False.
Question #2: The CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin sails under which country's flag?
        A. China, or
        B. the United Kingdom, or
        C. the United Arab Emirates.
Question #3: Where was the CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin built?
        A. Korea, or
        B. China, or
        C. Scotland (UK).

++ DID YOU KNOW? OF THE DAY ++
The CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin is:
Longer than 4 football fields or 5.5 A380 Airbus.
Bigger than The Empire State Building (381m -- 1250ft without antennas) and the Eiffel Tower (324m -- 1062ft).
An engine as powerful as 900 cars of 100 horsepower (Renault Megane type OR Ford Focus type).
A 21 knots thrust equivalent to that of 10 A380 airbus reactors (3,000 KNewton).
The electricity production of a city of 16,000, or of 10 windmills (14 MWatts).
It has 18 000 TEUs capacity, or 109 km of containers aligned.
