Question #1: How can you determine which year will be a LEAP YEAR?
A. The year must be an even-numbered year and can be divided by the number 2, or
B. The year must be an even-numbered year and can be divided by the number 4, or
C. The year must be an even-numbered year and can be divided by the number π ("pi" or 3.1416+)
In
the Gregorian calendar 3 criteria must be taken into account to
identify leap years:
The year is evenly divisible by 4;
If the year can be evenly divided by 100, it is NOT a leap year, unless;
The year is also evenly divisible by 400. Then it is a leap year.
This means that 2000 and 2400 are leap years, while 1800, 1900, 2100, 2200, 2300 and 2500 are NOT leap years.(1)

2a: Leap Day is February 29, which is an extra (intercalary) day added during a Leap Year, making the year 366 days long – and not 365 days, like a common (normal) year.
Nearly every 4 years is a Leap Year in our modern Gregorian Calendar. (2a)
2b: February 30 was a real date at one point in time in Sweden and the Soviet Union.
In Sweden, February 30 resulted from an error with calendar conversion in the 18th century.
About two centuries later, the Soviet revolutionary calendar featured February 30 as a result of an attempt to cut seven-day weeks into five-day weeks and to introduce 30-day months for every working month. (2b)
Question #3: Having your Birthday on a major holiday (e.g., Christmas) is usually a bummer because your holiday and birthday presents may be given on just one day. However, it could be worse by having a LEAP YEAR birthday! According to official records, what's the largest number of LEAP YEAR children born consecutively within a single family?
A. 2, or

C. 4
A Norwegian family named Henriksen from Andenes holds the official record of number of children born on February 29. Mrs. Karin Henriksen gave birth to 3 children on consecutive February 29; her daughter Heidi in 1960 and her sons Olav and Leif-Martin in 1964 and 1968 respectively.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, the only verified example of a family producing three consecutive generations born on February 29 is that of the Keogh family.
Peter Anthony was born in Ireland on February 29, 1940, while his son Peter Eric was born on the Leap Day in the United Kingdom (UK) in 1964.
His daughter, Bethany Wealth, was, in turn, born in the UK on February 29, 1996. (3)
